Interpretation signs make it to AustriaThe Lifelong Learning Foundation has been working with Haadyao Nature Resort on interpretation signs at the resort. These are seen as an important ecotourism tool in bringing about awareness and providing information about the area to tourists. When there is better understanding of one’s surroundings (especially in a foreign country!), there is greater appreciation for the nature, natives and the local environment.
The founders and creative directors of an Austrian advertising agency came across the resort during their travels. They were on assignment in Asia and were captivated by these signs. They donned on their red suits and started posing. It was definitely an exciting experience for the people at the resort (most of all the villagers!).
